Cheese Ball Recipe

Cheese balls are perfect for holiday parties served as a spread with crackers and bread

Ingredients:


  • 16 ounces of grated cheddar cheese
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 pound bacon

Directions:


  • First fry the bacon in a large pan. Once fried, place the bacon on a paper towel and then chop the bacon.
  • Add the bacon, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and green onions into a bowl and mix well. Once mixed, create 3 equally sized balls then refrigirate covered overnight.
  • The next day, roll the cheese balls in the chopped pecans before serving.
