This German Hey Hey Sauerkraut Balls Recipe is fantastic

Ingredients:
1/2 pound sausage
1/4 cup onion
1 can sauerkraut
2 tablespoons bread crumbs
4 ounces of cream cheese
2 tablespoons of parsley
1 tablespoon of sweet hot mustard
1 dash of garlic salt
1 dash of pepper
1/2 cup of flour
2 eggs
2 tablespoons water
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
Cooking oil
Directions:
1. Fry onion and sausage in a large pan until browned. Break the sausage into pieces and drain.
2. Combine and mix the following ingredients in a large bowl; drained sauerkraut, sausage mixture, cream cheese, parsley, garlic salt, mustard, pepper, 2 tablespoons of bread crumbs. Cover and place in refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
3. Pour the flour into a bowl and in a separate bowl beat the water and eggs. Then, place bread crumbs in a third container.
4. Shape sauerkraut mixture into balls and roll the balls in flour, then in the egg mixture, and lastly in the bread crumbs. Fry a few at a time for a few minutes or until browned. Remove from fat with a spoon and drain on paper towels. Take the balls and place onto a baking sheet and keep warm in a 300 degree oven. Makes 25 balls.
